Limbo Review
Experiments like Limbo and Amnesia: The Dark Descent are enough to justify even a passing interest in the digital interactive medium. They're both games, I guess, but they are more experiments in interactivity than games per se. There's no clear fun in them, although there is progression and enough interactivity, both elements more vague and sparse in Limbo than in Amnesia.

I think this should be clarified at the beginning: looking at Limbo as just another game, as only a game, will diminish your enjoyment and appreciation of it and I'm not saying this to blindly defend it or just for the sake of justification of its small problems. Exactly

To say that I'm not fond of Japanese RPGs is a euphemism for how hard I try to stay clear of them. No reason for too much analysis of this aspect, let's just say that perpetually grinning girls and boys that look like girls with the most exotic hair-coloring and an obsession for over-blown manifestations of all emotions are a bit too much than what I'll accept in my games. Yeah, it has high chances of being really special if they combined Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout 3. Anyway, along Deus Ex 3 it should be the best game of the year.

Well, by 2100 we'll have unimaginable experiences in virtual realities, so I don't know... but I'm sure it will be one of the best games in history. November can't come soon enough.
